Given the specific requirements that our software must meet for construction, we have chosen HiCAD – a 2D/3D CAD system from ISD Software and Systeme GmbH. The implementation of the software took place in early February 2024, and within just a few months, our designers were ready to dive into drawings and statics.

The decision to go with HiCAD was not made lightly:

• With its powerful tools, it allows us to model our specialized steel structures in a variety of parametric representations – a combination of 2D and 3D displays.
• The specialized modules, particularly for steel construction, along with numerous interfaces provide us with the flexibility we urgently need.
• Thanks to the Component Management (HCM), we can efficiently manage components and parts. This includes creating bill of materials as well as adding and storing existing products.
• Control mechanisms like the Design Checker ensure that construction and oversight errors are a thing of the past.
• Additionally, we benefit from continuous software development and excellent support.

With HiCAD, we are well-equipped to successfully execute our projects and set new standards in construction!
